SAN MATEO, Calif. - March 24, 2005 - EGI Technologies, a leading global provider of enterprise knowledge and project management solutions to commercial and government organizations, today announced that they have been chosen by Spansion AMD to publish the browser-based Product Release Management solution. The application is designed based on the EGI Strategic Project Management (SPM) Model. It enables collaborative project management, bug track and online meetings for product and services-based corporations and government agencies. Through the use of EGI OMM Enterprise Modeling technology, PRM provides collaboration features such as group blogging, project planning, bug tracking, resource allocation, online meeting, forum discussions and context email.
"We are excited about our partnership with Spansion AMD to support their distributive product release process," said EGI Technologies CEO and Chairman, Dr. Edward C. Cheng. "The PRM infrastructure and platform solution enable Spansion to create a network of groups from Sunnyvale (CA), Austin (TX), Panang and Japan to collaborate in product release. The result is an improved time-to-market and a lower risk of product release."
